Matt McCarthy
Matt has been in the Rocky Mountain Athletic conference since 2022, serving two years on the swing list before being promoted to a half schedule during the 2024 season, working as a Line Judge.
Prior to joining the RMAC, he officiated high school football for seven years in Colorado, earning a 4A State Championship assignment during the fall 2020 season as well as a 3A State Championship in 2023. Matt was a camper at FRFOC in 2019 and 2022.
Off the field, Matt spent 10 years working in Intramural Sports at the University of Iowa (2), the University of Utah (2), and Colorado State University (6), training on-campus officials in various intramural sports with several officials he trained earning the opportunity to officiate regional and national tournaments for both flag football and basketball. Matt now works as a Senior Supervisor for the City of Fort Collins Recreation Department on their Facilities & Operations team. He lives in Fort Collins, CO.
