Darren is a Center Judge in the Big 12 Conference. In 2021, he worked the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl. He has also worked the Mountain West Championship game, the AutoNation Cure Bowl, and the GoDaddy Bowl. Prior to working Division I, he was an umpire in the Southern California Interscholastic Athletic Conference (D-III). Outside of football, Darren is an EMT and a personal trainer, specializing in Pilates. He is a three-time Ironman and lives in Pasadena, California, with his wife, Michelle, and their dog and two cats.
