Dave lives in Henderson, CO and has been married for 18 years and has one child. He has a degree in Elementary Education and has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 1999.

Dave began officiating and coaching athletic sports including baseball, football, golf and basketball in 1990. He was fortunate enough to officiate the 1994 National Baseball Congress (NBC) Little League World Series.

 

Thereafter, he began officiating high school football in 2008 while having the opportunity to work many playoff games as a Back Judge (BJ). He also officiated the 2013 Colorado High School Coaches Association (CHSCA) Football All Star as a Field Judge (FJ).

 

His college football officiating career began as a part-time Side Judge (SJ), Field Judge (FJ) and Back Judge (BJ) in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) in 2013 and he was hired full-time as a SJ in 2014. Dave was selected to work NCAA D2 Playoff Crew 2015 and 2016 (SJ) and 2019 (BJ). Dave was hired as a supplemental in the CFO West in 2016 as a SJ / FJ and was hired full time in the Western Athletic Conference (SJ) in 2021.
